Based in the UK, Adam is passionate about empowering scientists to achieve breakthrough research by optimizing laboratory technology and workflows. His career began at the bench, where he was responsible for transferring cell line development assays from manual processes to complex automation platforms, igniting a lifelong commitment to advancing scientific automation3.

Adam’s expertise spans both hands-on laboratory science and strategic advisory roles. Early in his career, he worked as a Laboratory Automation Scientist at GSK, where he played a key role in implementing and maintaining automated cell culture systems. He then joined Beckman Coulter, supporting clients across the UK as an Applications Specialist and later as a Project Manager, helping laboratories maximize the utility and reliability of advanced automation systems3.

In 2016, Adam joined CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA, where he quickly established himself as a thought leader in laboratory technology. As Head of Scientific Technology Advisory, he led initiatives to help clients increase their return on investment in laboratory equipment, develop utilization strategies, and deliver technical training. His current role as Academy Director sees him building and leading a multidisciplinary team that provides independent, expert advice to scientists, ensuring they can leverage their equipment effectively and focus on their core research without the burden of technical challenges35.
