During January-March (Q1) 2026, India’s real estate market continued to exhibit resilience, underpinned by steady economic activity and domestic demand. While geopolitical developments remained fluid, key sectors recorded stable performance across major cities.

 

In the residential segment, market activity remained stable amidst a phase of gradual normalisation as it sustained end-user demand across key cities. 

 

New project launches also increased during the quarter, with Bengaluru, Mumbai and Hyderabad contributing a substantial share. High-end and luxury housing continued to gain traction, reflecting evolving buyer preferences and market segmentation.
