Tedd Carrison, Director of Client Strategy & Consulting in the Advisory Services Practice, is responsible for translating clients' business objectives into smart, executable real estate strategies. Tedd is a member of the Location Incentives group and has a diverse professional background with expertise in data analysis, economic development, GIS mapping, regional planning, and journalism. He has served in a variety of roles spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Prior to joining CBRE, Tedd was a Senior Research Analyst for World Business Chicago, the city’s nonprofit economic development organization. There, he contributed to dozens of corporate expansion and relocation projects with clients of all sizes and across a broad spectrum of industries. In addition, he provided extensive analytical support to the Illinois Innovation Index, Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs, and various other economic development initiatives.
In other roles, Tedd has provided GIS support to the Lake County (IL) Chief County Assessment Office, served as a research assistant for the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, and worked as a reporter for two community newspapers on the South Side of Chicago.
