•  Six projects totaling 2,226 units delivered in Q1 2018, while an additional 2,185 units prepare to deliver before year-end. 72% of the deliveries took place in the Alexandria and Reston/Herndon submarkets. Demand remains strong as 1,681 units were absorbed in Q1.

•  As more Class A supply is added to existing inventory, Class B rents continue to outperform Class A, increasing 2.9% over the quarter, with an average monthly rent of $1,706.

•  The largest delivery of Q1 was Boston Properties’ Reston project, The Signature. The 508-unit luxury community adds to the ever-growing submarket, boosted by the addition of the Reston Town Center Station, an extension of the Silver Line.
