In H1 2018, Moscow office stock increased by 39,400 sq m, while in Q2 only 2,300 sq m office space was commissioned.
In Q2 2018 overall vacancy rate continued to decline and reached 11.5%. At the same time, the pace of reduction is accelerating under the influence of recovering demand and an extremely low completions volume.
Take-up accounted for 720,000 sq m office space in H1 2018. It is the largest volume of new transactions in the first 6 months of the year for the last 8 years.
Net absorption in January-June 2018 amounted to 415,200 sq m. This volume is 4 times higher compared to H1 2017 and indicates a high activity of tenants and buyers on the Moscow office real estate market, which has been preserved since the end of last year.
