• The positive trend of consumer confidence improved in the last quarter of the year.
  • The pipeline already under construction for 2018 amounts to approximately 212,574 sqm of GLA, including all commercial formats and extensions.
  • Rents were unchanged in Rome but rose in Milan where they are now 930 Euro per sqm per year in the prime shopping mall segment.
  • Rents continued to rise in the high street sector with Milan at 6,800 Euro per sqm per year and Rome at 6,500 Euro per sqm per year. They are expected to rise next year as well.
  • In the last quarter of the year the volume invested in the retail sector rose to just over 1 billion Euro, bringing the annual volume to around 2.4 billion Euro.
